Whilst Si and I re-adjust to having our house, and peace and quiet back, Boy and Jess are living it up big time in Munich. (Or Munchen as Duolingo has taught me .... Wo Ist Der Kellner).
Not only that, It's Jess' birthday, and her Mom and Pap have turned up to help her celebrate. God Help Them.
They have been doing Oktoberfest for the last two days - this is supposed to be the busiest day.
Tents with 15,000 people in them? Boy was couch surfing with a friend from university - Yeah, A german studying in America.... and the first night they were in a smaller tent with 5000 people... The fastest service they have ever had. Those ladies are sure talented, some of them can carry 12 steiners in one. How do they do it?
Beer is a minimum of 6% and is only sold by the Litre.... I don't know about Danny and Dawn, but I think I'd stuggle after one!
Not only are their miles and miles of tables, and pools and pools of beer - there is a massive carnival outside too. Last night we were treated to Jessica on a fast-moving conveyor belt which took her to the top of a Helterskelter, and Boy on a swing hundreds of feet in the air swinging far and wide over the fun.
I had to go and lie down after watching the film.
:-D
Happy, Happy Birthday Jess. Don't wear your mum and dad out.
PS - Yes, Boy is wearing a German hat with a Chicken on top Click thru to see it working.
