I could give you anything....

You could have so many photos today.    We have been very busy.

Yes, Elizabeth another rest day and we haven't stopped.

We went up to the allotment first thing to water the tomatoes which we forgot to do yesterday, and collect all of the bags of weeds  - i  think there were six.

The sunflowers were beautiful my swwet peas ony just seem to be coming into their own - and no doubt  will be massacted by frost shortly.

We had  a lovely walk round and we sat on  A's bench for a while.   Its lovely checking out everyone's plots to see what they have and what ideas we can pick up.

Then it was down to the skip.  We also had a broken stool, and a bedside cabinet.   We have a booking system now - so I booked it first thing for midday.

we got all unloaded and then came home for "brunch".   Si made potato scones last month- they are lush.

Then I weeded the front garden, dug up two rose bushes, replanted my bleeding hearts, and the blue sea thistle thing.  Then Mowed the grass, then strimmed it, then  took the hoe round the edges. and then  I painted my two troughs, and planted 55 bulbs   I am very excited for them coming up in spring.

Then I dug through my trough at the side and the pots which sit there.  Then it was round to the back, where I separated my seeds and bagged them for drying for next year.

Then I wrote up my gardening diary , so that we know what we planted over the weekend and when it should come up.

THen i remembered my clay.  My mate K bought me clay for a gift for my birthday or christmas (remember i got them all at the one time) .

So  as Si had finished mowing the back grass, and throwing out broken pots and dead plants and sorting the shed, and his bike ( I don't want you to think i was doing all the work.  - he headed up to the shower, and I pulled out the clay, and began to muddle.

Oh goodness.   Si came back from thw shower and looked at me and shook his head and said "I don't believe it".   The clay was everywhere, in my hair, my face, the patio, the garden table, my phone, my watch.

Everywhere.

Awful

What a mess.

But I looked at him and said, "but hey- it made me happy.. be happy for me".

And also - I stood up twice, from sitting on my arse on a low step, without using my hands.

I think  that is all enough for one day
