Early

Some of you will know this Fell is Skiddaw under cloud.  Today I wanted to take shots around the Keswick area from the western side of Derwentwater and hopefully see the sun rise.  This was just after 7am and I hope you can see the different light over the lake and valley.  Still plenty of leaves on trees even though it was a 'wild' day yesterday and rain fell heavily..  Evidence of this rain was everywhere: rivers were higher and running faster, flattened grass where the river had risen to, land flooded and large puddles on the road.  A better morning, but rain returned in the afternoon.
Today was Cockermouth U3A Open Day.  Every group held displays and of course the Digital Photo Group was there too.
