Weir.

This is a back Blip from Friday.  On that day I visited St Bees and the sun was shining.  Here the clouds where over the Lake District and a different day entirely.  Why am I here?  This is a place to visit and see the weir and the water leaving the lake and becoming the River Ehen (The river entering Ennerdale is called the Liza.)  Eventually this weir will be removed, like the one at Crummock Water, returning the valley to how it once was.  There is a scheme to Rewild Ennerdale.
Today I visited Loweswater, Crummock and Honister Pass before returning vis Borrowdale.  A cloudy start but once passed Keswick a bright and sunny day.  Photos of the day to come.
