Swan

Scattered sun, warm walks.
Curious wildlife approach.
Later on: deluge.

We were luckier with the weather today, it was clear for our walk into town so Ben and I dawdled along the canal on the way home, all very nice.  Older teen was out at a party this afternoon, I've just been to fetch him and some friends and the heavens opened, so that was a bit soggy! 
I'm out tonight for a friend's big birthday do, so I'm a bit apprehensive about the travelling and who I'll know when I get there.  I'm sure it will be lots of fun once I get into it :-)
Ben and I had an afternoon walk around the lake again, I took my macro lens thinking I'd look for little insects and flowers, there wasn't much chance to pause with Mr Ben(!) but I managed to get the focus sufficiently to catch this swan which I was quite pleased about given it was the wrong lens.  That's about it for today.
