Chewing a Stick

Pounce on juicy stick,
scamper up the stairs. Capture
top step, to munch prey.

Quite rainy today.  Made things a little more tricky.  We still tried to take it quite slowly but Ben was grumpy that the trampoline was wet.  We cut Ben's hair, had a quick (soggy) walk around the block with Leo.  Scrambled eggs for lunch and then a walk in the woods.  We were quite lucky with the weather on the woods walk.  Ben has been very focused on what he wants to do today.  He enjoyed Go For Broke yesterday so he said he wanted to do that again and he's very keen on the hoover at the moment, I think it links to his 'putting tables away' job at school, where he also hoovers.  So we hoovered the stairs this morning (I hope it doesn't sound too harsh to say, he's massively more a hinderance than a help) but he was so happy and then later I said we could hoover our front room and he was delighted.  He's just kicked up a massive stink after tea when I said we didn't need to do any more hoovering and he went off on the damp trampoline in a strop.
Fortunately Leo stole a stick (who knew Ben had stashed a stick he brought back from the woods??!) and crunched it on the landing, so there was a woodchippy pile of sawdust that needed attention.  Funny how the obsessions hit him.  I guess this one could be worse.
Not much else to report :-)
