Devoran towards Feock
We had an interesting experience at Exmouth this morning, watching the lifeboat being launched by a contraption that then wandered along the seabed towards an area where the lifeboat would be able to launch itself onto the beach. The “contraption” would then scoop up the lifeboat and take it back to the lifeboat station. See extras.
Then a couple of hours drive to Devoran, where we stopped for lunch and a walk, before stopping in Helston for groceries.
The next part of the journey was definitely not my favourite. I hate narrow lanes, and we’d plenty of those before we eventually got to our bungalow in Helford on the Lizard.
We walked down to the pub for dinner and I was really glad I’d thought to pack a torch for the walk back up the hill..
