Visitors!

I got a text from Anne & Bob, who were having breakfast at Montpelier’s, so Archie and I wandered over there to meet them. JR was at gym.

The travellers then walked back to their hotel (just over the Meadows) to collect their bags, while we came home. Once the bags were collected, they arrived for lunch. JR had made a delicious (Waitrose recipe) - Moroccan style carrot soup, followed by a huge Niçoise salad (Extra) Scrumptious!

Later, JR and Archie walked over the Meadows with A&B to direct them to their trip rendezvous hotel. They are going on a rail journey round Scotland. Well, with rail strikes, they might be in buses coaches more.

We had a lovely sunny day today, but I fear that the travellers are going to get a bit of rain during their 9 days away. Fingers crossed they have lots of sunshine in between the showers.
