Still life

I was busy in the kitchen this morning, batch cooking for the freezer...... chicken curry ....... made 8 x 2 portions, so well pleased.

Just as I finished Cali arrived unexpectedly and had coffee with me and we caught up with our news. 

In the afternoon we had the tree doctor to reduce the height of the rowan and the plum trees, good job done.  Then we went down the valley as Bob wanted a certain plant, unfortunately we didn't manage to get it but it was nice to go anyhow.

I picked the last of the sweet peas, and mixed them with the gifts Cali brought us from her trip to Spain, for a still life shot.
