Aoraki-Mt Cook …

….. a brief moment before it clouded over again.

I left Christchurch early this morning and took my time driving back south, with Missy. We stopped and visited friends near Geraldine (Horomaka), and then other stops for walks, food & photos.

I’d toyed with the idea of staying in Christchurch a few more days but the forecasted ‘icy blast’ coming up from Antarctica was enough to get me on this side of the Lindis Pass.
