Blooming lovely

I saw this in a neighbour's garden on the way home from church, and liked it, so blipped it!

We had Communion this morning, and it was a busy service.  We were told that the amount raised so far from the MacMillan Coffee morning on Friday was £2,540..... and counting...... quite a lot of donations coming in this morning from people who had not managed to the coffee morning itself, and selling off some of the cakes left over from the day.

Did roast chicken for dinner, with roast potatoes and cabbage..... did a new cabbage reciipe with carrot, garlic, and soy sauce, and it was really nice.  

After dinner watched the results of 'Strictly'..... not sure about it this year, I am having trouble sorting out who is professional and who is the celebrity, as there seem to be a lot of new professionals.  And missing some of the more popular ones.
