Wine o'clock

We met our CHew-and-Chat buddy Tom this afternoon for what we call a 'chewette'. That's intended to be a less formal eating occasion than a full-blown Chew and Chat. Less food and less alcohol, basically.

We have really fond memories of Regazzi restaurant in Dalkey, especially their intimate upstairs tables. We were sorry to hear that the upstairs is now closed, though the atmosphere downstairs was still great and our food was excellent. It might have been wine o'clock as far as they were concerned, but I was more in the mood for beer.

A really pleasant afternoon. Great company and non-stop chat.
