The Mansion And The Cross
God it felt cold this morning - it was down to 5 degrees C when I got up and I had to dig out a scarf for the first time since last winter to take my brother up to the station.
After doing some early exercise, prep for tonight's dinner and watching the highlight's of last night's Scotland Nations League game (we drew 0 - 0 with Ukraine to gain promotion to the top tier after having previously beaten them in the reverse fixture and defeating the Republic of Ireland - all in the space of six days!) I felt I needed a breath of fresh air and change of scenery so I headed to our nearest market town of West Malling.
Today's image was taken at the top of the High Street and shows this substantial and rather magnificent Georgian house (mansion sounded better for title purposes) with a stone cross belonging to the church next door, St Mary The Virgin, in the foreground all set off by that rather dramatic sky.
