Lazy day

Archie had a big walk this morning with Denise, and has snoozed, mostly, since then, after his beard’n’paw wash. I also have not done much - quite a bit of snacking and the odd snooze. JR went to the gym, then popped up for her yearly check up at the surgery. All tickety-boo, of course. The staff must just love seeing healthy old folk for a change.

We did watch a Netflix movie in the afternoon about Siegfried Sassoon, but I dozed off during that.

Thinking about our next holiday - we have deposit money with a travel company from our cancelled Rocky Mountain trip a couple of years ago, so we need to use that up. The ideas have been flowing - from a safari, to London, to Europe, England… either flying/train/car. We need to arrange something for November, when we have a visitor here to look after the house and dog.
