Leaf Rubbings

When we were walking in the woods this morning we gathered some fallen leaves to do some leaf rubbing this afternoon with Maggie.

But poor Maggie is still recovering from the virus she had, so she wasn’t on top form. She managed a few with help, then I cut them out and put them on the wall. She has spent most of the day lying on the sofa watching telly or playing with Geordie.

As I write this I’m feeling rather cosy. No, I’ve not put the CH on. I’m wearing my new electric heated wrap. It goes over the shoulders and fastens at the chest, with a high neck, and covers my back and bum, tying round the middle to keep it snug. Yes, it plugs into a socket, but is very cheap (less than 5p an hour) to run. It unplugs at the side if I need to get up and walk around, then just plug back in when sitting down again. I like to feel warm or I ache a lot, so it looks like this will do the job.
