Wool Week is Over

A breezy day, mostly cloudy but the sun did appear through the hazy clouds.  Some showers tonight.

Up early, and early shift in the airport.  I was meeting and boarding flights this morning, and then on the check-in desk in the afternoon.  A quiet night at home, some walkies with Sammy, mostly feet up by the fire.  After a struggle to get a doctor appointment, they phoned back today with a list of painkillers to take, and to see the doctor on Wednesday, hopefully get an answer about my sciatica pains.

The flights were busier heading out of Shetland today, mostly women leaving after a week of wool.  By the sounds of it, Wool Week has been a huge success, even though it was a smaller affair than previous years, more intimate this year.  Here are a couple of lasses starting to discuss plans for next year's Wool Week events, the dates have already been set.  Taken behind Ladysmith, Sannik, Sandwick.
