Some of the attractive facades in Innsbruck, including the famous Golden Roof which was commissioned by Emperor Maximilian I (1459 - 1519) to commemorate his wedding to Bianca Maria Sforza of Milan. It is covered with 2657 fire gilded copper tiles giving a golden effect.
