The weather was too misty to do our planned walk so after a walk through woods and fields we drove to Bregenz just over the border in Austria where we visited Gebhardsberg Castle with good views and were fortunate to see a Zeppelin airship fly past just above head height.  Two Zeppelins fly at a cruising speed of about 1000ft taking tourists on a choice of 12 tours over the German, Austrian and Swiss countryside around Bodensee and they can both be seen in the distance about 15 minutes later.   Extra  As I took the photo of this field I have one foot in Germany and the other in Austria.  We crossed the border several times on the morning walk but there is little to show that it’s the border apart from some very low stone blocks and posts.
