An impressionistic day
Today, Martin and I decided to go into Edinburgh (11 minutes on the train) to the Royal Scottish Academy to see their ‘Taste for Impressionism’ exhibition, which was amazing.
It’s so wonderful to be sharing space with Monet, Degas, Seurat, Van Gogh etc. I am standing beside Monet’s ‘La Felaise Lecamp’. The first extra is of Martin with his favourite painting, ‘The Wheatfield’, by Raoul Dufy. The second extra is of a Van Gogh painting which he painted over a previous self portrait, which technology has just discovered.

All in all, a culturally fun day, and now back home chilling.
I hope you have had a good day.
