Simple stuff

Food doesn't get much better. A white Malone's (Edinburgh bakery) roll, butter and a fried egg.

The yolk, melting butter and brown sauce dripped down my hand. The seasoning was perfect, enough salt and just a little hint of white pepper mixed with a dollop of brown sauce. The roll resisted my bite then melted away. Pure joy.

Those of a certain age who have given up indigestible eggs should know it was perfection and well worth the agony I endured 2 hours later!
