The snow arrived …

….. this was us out walking this afternoon.

It was fine when we left home! It set in snowing heavily while we were out, and 1°C when we got back home. No harm done though.

There was snow everywhere at first light this morning, and it continued on & off all day. Apparently there’s more due overnight.

I’m relieved that I made the decision to come home from Christchurch when I did. We sure got the Antarctic icy blast.
