Chicklings

A familiar & welcome sight has graced the lake at Tile Barn once again.

The Black Chicken Things (BCT's for short OR Moorhen's if you're being technical) & six of their cutest looking little black, fluffy chicks are back for another season of larks, laughs & learning to fly (well, glide from high to low) lake-side. They appeared a few days ago & are already getting into the swing of things - the chicken's hutch & feed particularly being prime target! Those cheeky little devils. Sqwark!

How could I not blip their return on the water?!

A beautiful day today (I was at the Office in shorts & tee all day, & we had a little kick about with the football at the park at lunch too!) & hears hoping the long weekend brings more of the same.
