Late Bloomers

We had ourselves a day of calm & quiet. It's a been a busy & jam-packed week & we finally had time to stop & rest.

These few poached egg plants were the only early risers today. Back late last night, we gladly slept in whilst the sun shone & the first few flowers spread their petals. We planted them last year & for large parts of the time in between then & now, we weren't sure if they were the same or something more weed like. Now we know.
