A crazy busy working day. We had a full team meeting, and so needed to be in Preston for 9am for a catch up with our guest speaker so we could brief him about the project we’d be discussing.

H, one of my job share partners rang me yesterday as she’d realised the trains were on strike and she’d be struggling to get there. I offered to go and pick her up - although it would be a 20/30 mins detour. Then heavy traffic, heavy rain, traffic light failure and a succession of roadworks meant that took best part of 2 hours to get into the office. Needless to say we didn’t make the 9am meet! Fortunately we’d already agreed her husband would pick her up from my house so I didn’t need to detour on the way home too.

As we came out of an afternoon meeting, I spotted these fungi and so grabbed a blip.
