Darling Buds of May

Well the buds on my plum tree. Last year is was just a sapling (twig in a pot) and showed no sign of anything but this year is has started to grow and now bud.

Not sure if we will get any blossom or fruit this year but at least it is on its way for future years and according to the instruction manual it can remain in the large pot it is in and not have to be planted out.

This is a result as both my dearest and I are not known for making things grow that well.
