Not my most flattering shot

Don’t blame me, the woman holding the phone doesn’t have long enough arms!!!

This is Amber reporting today. I’m helping out as things have been busy. The good lady who was poorly yesterday after her jab, was up early to go to for her blood test. The car park at the surgery was heaving, so she abandoned the boss leaving him to find a space. I think that the neighbouring practice was doing flu jabs.
 
Blood was duly donated and she’s home with a nice collection of bruises, they couldn’t  get a vein, but ready to have her scan next week. 

In ‘woman on a mission’ mode she cracked on with the jobs that were abandoned yesterday. When she sat down for a rest I joined her on the settee to give her a cuddle. I’ve neglected her a bit whilst Olive has been staying, too busy pinching Olives’s bed to lounge in. 

We had our walk up to the park for a mad run about in the sunshine and when the boss went off to coach athletics the good lady worked on her patchwork quilt for a couple of hours. 

I think that she is feeling a lot better. All that lounging about in bed yesterday was worthwhile!!!
