Old Sarum

This ancient hill fort is located right next to our campsite, which we have explored many times in the past, so this time we just gazed from afar.

Instead we spent this lovely sunny day with our friends, Tony and Sue in Salisbury, enjoying conversation over lunch at the “New Inn”, which actually looks very old!

Once a week a small food truck run by a Scottish man called Tattie McSpudface comes to our campsite and sells Breakfast Baps in the mornings and jacket potatoes with various fillings on the evenings. I had one of his Haggis filled jacket potatoes this evening. Him being Scottish, he knows where to get the best Haggis. It was good!
