Family, Friends and Frangipanes
Packed up the BK once more and set off northward to Sutton to park O/N on Sam & Deb’s drive.
We stopped for lunch at Chervil Services on the M40. David had the hottest Cornish Pasty ever and I indulged my desire for vegetables with a delicious Kale & Red Tapenade with Cauliflower Cheese and an organic coffee from Pret-a-Manger.
When we got to Birmingham we picked up Bryn and took him to Asda for a little treat.
Then to Geoff & Helene’s for tea and hugs. Despite my request for nothing fancy, we were treated to some wonderful homemade Plum Frangipanes.
We then got to hang out with Julia and Eden who happen to be in Sutton for the weekend, along with the rest of the family.
We ended the day with a great impromptu meal with the family and great conversation.
