Gourock Outdoor Pool

Went for a walk/run this morning along the front of Gourock. It was freezing, the wind would cut you in two.
The Gourock outdoor pool opened today for the season. The pool, which is heated, first opened in 1909 and has had a few renovations since then, the latest in 2011 along with a new gym ( don't go there I don't do gyms). The boys didn't want to go, of course not, it didn't involve a football!
So, after my walk I went for a swim. The water was lovely and warm in the rain. The spectators were just as wet but a lot colder. Hurry up sunshine!
Planning a midnight swim, which is a popular event and runs 1 night a week through July and August.
