1820's style

I had a chance to drive around the central part of Port Elizabeth today. Some parts are in ruins, but there are pockets of lovely houses. These houses date back to the 1820 settlers, and are mainly used as offices now. Our city is so rich in history, but sadly so much is neglected.

We went to an 80th birthday breakfast celebration this morning at the Beach Hotel where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, champagne and good company. This evening hubby T and I went to our favouirite Chinese restaurant where the food is always good.
