Look what Gemma made for me!!! How brilliant is that?

Another late night, late start... need to sleep in the middle of the afternoon sort of day. However, Sarah and Gem have come to stay for the weekend to celebrate my birthday some more. There's a lot to be said for this extended birthday lark! They brought me some lovely gifts including a little book with messages from lots of my friends... made me cry!

We went out for a late breakfast/late lunch/early dinner to Bond No. 9 and oggled the bar staff had some food, I'm avoiding booze after wine yesterday... not smart to mix booze and jet lag! We're home now, have eaten a very big slice of the red velvet cake and are now giggling over stupid stuff.

I love my friends!
