Smoke At Sunset

I'd almost done for the day, photographically, when I spotted smoke in the distance. At first I thought it was connected to light rays I'd seen earlier, as the sky had been quite cloudy with a few sunspots. A stillness meant the smoke wasn't drifting much. Probably just someone burning fall debris.

I like how it makes the dead ash trees show up and I spotted that a tree had fallen on the old boathouse. I could see there's a notice in the window and wondered what that was about.
