Emergency Blip taken at the end of a long day!

Off to the Yorkshire Dales for four nights. Packing done and everything loaded in to the van, we tackled the last little bit of tidying. On Thursday, before we return, the estate agent will show someone round the flat.

It was a pleasant drive apart from the inevitable roadworks around Newcastle. As we arrived in West Burton, where MrM had booked accommodation, we were planning to  walk to the waterfall before having something to eat. But it was not to be - today, anyway. There was a problem with the booking, don't ask! Suffice to say that thanks to a smartphone and the internet it didn't take long to book alternative accommodation in Richmond, 20 or so miles away.

It turned out to be a very nice pub, and we arrived in time to book in and have dinner, a very good Sunday roast. Time to enjoy a glass of red before bed...
