Kirton in Lindsey to Durham

A quiet overnight stop with a breezy, sunny start again later to turn to torrential rain when on the motorway.

We spent the afternoon and evening with a dear and lovely friend C, John first met her when he was at school. It was a pleasure to chat, cook together and drink a glass or two of a dry sparkling wine, English.
