More water

Similar photo to yesterday, but this was taken from a ferry rather than the shore. Ferry from Uig, Skye  to Lochmaddy, North Uist. This is a trip we have made many times and delight in it each time. I sit on deck with my book and a view of the sea and distant islands; Gordon wanders about with his binoculars and watches Gannets and Dolphins. 

We had a calm crossing and a fine, sunny welcome to North Uist, but it is now wet and very windy - wild. However, we are settled into the warm, light, super house we know well. Good to be back.
