Where’s the iron?

Some people take strange things onto a train, but an ironing board . . . ! *

Train from Kings Cross to Darlington. A lovely journey. If all railways ran as efficiently as the East Coast then many more people would use them. We’re now home after an excellent few days. Sadly we left the sunshine behind.

* I did find out about the ironing board later. Imagine living so long and not knowing why a smartly dressed young man would take an ironing board onto a train! Now I’m going to find that it’s common knowledge . . .
