Whitley Bay on a Fair Day

We went for a walk on the beach near St Mary's Lighthouse. It was very windy, but fairly mild. The sky was really interesting, and the light kept changing quite spectacularly. This was reflected on the backdrop of the white lighthouse and also Spanish City at the other end. Lots of people were out walking, with a really good selection of dogs including poodles, beagles, huskies, tiny rat like creatures, and of course the ever present wet black labrador. Dogs love running into the sea. There was no similar spectacle from the humans though, not even any surfers.

I have tried to 'stitch' 2 pictures together, not perfectly but enough to give the impression of the panorama and the lovely sky I hope.

A nice beach walk and hopefully the start of warmer weather to come.
