Pink is the colour

From Portsmouth we took the night sailing to St. Malo in France. We are here for 6 days and our intention to visit some of the islands of the Atlantic coast.
We left St. Malo and travelled down to a the very smart little town of Rochefort, just 30K south of La Rochelle. We parked up for a well earned beer and a galette for a late lunch and it was then l noticed that whole town was dressed in pink. Yesterday the town was raising money for breast cancer, we later watched a walk of over 3,000 people of all ages and a run of another 750. Chapeau to the people of Rochfort.
Today we are going out to Ile d' Oleron.
