Snow and steam

I woke up on my last full day to find fresh snow on the fells. The weather soon cleared as I drove towards Reykjavik, but I did manage to get snowed on, and met some friendly horses.  The pull of the Westfjords was very strong as I passed the turnoff for Ísafjörður - but I had to resist.  I ended the day on the Reykjanes Peninsula, with its lava rocks and steam. It all seemed wonderfully Icelandic. I'll be back for more!
