Cathedral view

This morning MrM went fishing in the River Swale near the old Station in Richmond, and caught quite a few fish (he has photographic evidence!). Meanwhile, I had another wander around the town, enjoyed a coffee in a café/deli (owned by a Yorkshireman of few words), and procured some pies and pasties (among other things) for lunch, which we ate later in the van.

Time to move on to Ripon this afternoon, where we're staying for a couple of nights. On the way up to our room in the B&B I couldn't resist stepping on to the top step of the fire escape for a quick Blip across the rooftops to the cathedral.

A wander round the town before a meal in the B&B this evening. The desserts were fabulous...
