This morning was quite frustrating as the website link for my Ayurveda course was down. This meant I could not catch up on my studies as I had planned.
So instead I went through the process of applying for our Visas for India . I lost my application first time round when I tried to upload my photo on the final page , so had to go through it all again. So starting all over again I reached the final page and
eventually I was able to upload a photo that fitted the requirements. I then found it easy doing Andy’s Visa application . I’m pleased they are printed out now , the next step is getting an appointment at the Indian Consulate in Edinburgh. The system for appointments is another difficulty to overcome. I will just have to try every day and hope eventually that there will be some available at the right date for us . We can only get a visa 30 days before your arrive in India. So it means we will probably have to book flights etc not having our visa finalised. Not a situation I particularly like.
Afterwards we went to The Dumfries & Galloway Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers Gathering. Amazingly creative people showing of their beautiful work , with plenty on sale . My blip is from a woven wall hanging made from discarded fishing ropes , found on the shores around the Hebrides.
We then went to see my Mum who has a chesty cough . I reported it to her carers , so I hope a Dr will see her next week if it does not improve.
I made us veggie haggis , neeps & tatties for our supper. Was delicious.
