River of Flowers

Sunday: Mahonia

We woke up to a lovely morning, gentle breeze, temperature around 15°C by midday and it was dry …!
Family history for a couple of hours.
MrD decided to mow the grass before lunchtime, lots of fallen leaves chopped up and the resulting mixture spread under the bird feeder.
My gardening job was to start pruning the yellow leaved elderflower - all the prunings into the green bin, some ripe elderberries too which I threw onto the garden for the wildlife :-))
Full Moon tonight but pouring with rain, so we won't know!
The Mahonia is certainly wasting no time in making flower spikes!
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
