Sticky toffee pudding

It is half term and we have come away for a long weekend.

First we broke our journey at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow which is a transport museum. It is huge, beautifully done, and free. Thank you Glasgow City Council. We spent a couple of hours there including a decent lunch, and we'll certainly come again because we only saw a fraction of it and it was great.

We then went on to our hotel, the Seamill Hydro. No view of the isle of Arran today, the weather was horrendous! But we enjoyed a swim in the pool, a game in the bar, then a really excellent dinner for three in the restaurant. We still have the breakfast to judge, of course, but so far we are very impressed and intend to come here again too.
