Ferry

When we got up this morning, we could see this Isle of Arran out of our bedroom window. It was still a bit hazy, but much better than when we arrived yesterday evening.

 

After breakfast we went for a stroll on the beach then headed to Ardrossan to get the ferry to Arran. Although the wind was pretty strong (can you see us bracing against it?) the crossing was actually pretty smooth. 

 

We were able to check in to our hotel straight away and go exploring all the facilities. There are two pools here, and we gave the first one a go in the afternoon.

 

Afterwards we went to the bar to play Carcasonne, then had dinner together. CyclopsJnr had a main course of the grown ups menu and greatly enjoyed it. We were finished earlier than last night, but he was still half falling asleep by the time dessert came, and out like a light once in his bed.
