64th in line
Today I sat next to and shook hands with the man who is 64th in line to the throne. He also has a rather cool castle! Some days I love my job. Today was one of them. It was a horrid day, weather-wise, but it was short and interesting work-wise!
I was at the official 'launch' of the newly-naturalised River South Esk. In the rain. Fiona Armstong, ex-ITN newsreader poured the whisky in the river, in the rain. Lots of people I know through work, wine and lunch in the Clova Hotel while it chucked it down outside. On the way down the Glen we stopped here, at Gella, and Scorrie decided she wasn't wet enough, so jumped in for a dip!
Then took the rest of the day flexi and met one of my ex colleagues from my old office for a long and non-stop chat while it poured down outside. Then a play with the dogs in Forfar at the Loch, in the rain.
It never did stop raining.
