Timing

My mum came up today for the long weekend. The dogs and I got a good walk in the woods (hence the picture if this delicate wee sorrel) first as her dog is 14 now and can't walk too far.

We had lunch with close friends in Stewart Towers ice cream parlour. They make different flavours every day, so it was 'whisky crunch' and 'maple and walnut' for me today, as part of my new determination to eat more interesting flavours. When I used to go with Ken he'd pick something different each time, and I'd go for their very plain 'moo' and end up wishing I'd picked his!
