Sandscape

We'd arranged to meet son and 3 grandchildren at Tentsmuir (it's half-term here) and a beautiful day for it.
FIrst we walked south-ish along the inside edge of the dunes and then back through the forest. Then lunch with crepes from the van and the kids followed this by going to the playpark.
Another walk in the opposite direction afterwards with loads of fungi in both woods and dunes - see extra for some. We passed a couple of dens that had been built the they had to be occupied - other extra.
Finally onto the beach and the short section back took a long time as there was castle building, hole digging and bird watching (2 sorts of diver, mergansers, gannets, gulls and sanderlings),. We also saw seals and a red squirrel.
The tide was coming in and there were great patterns in the sand.
Choosing a pic was tough, lots of interesting things, hence some extras, and there could have been more.
