After a Day on Zoom
Spend the last 6 hours on Zoom attending an RPS workshop on ‘Gestalt Theory applied to Photography Composition. The workshop lecture was Simon Ellingworth. He went through 7 of the principles that are important / related to photographic composition. Five other photographers where on the course, one from Australia.  We agreed to have a short lunch so he could get to bed earlier :) A great time.

He spoke a lot about the image being ‘About things” rather than ‘Of’ things. Very much the view of the RPS Contemporary Group

Todays image is just me coming out the office and being treated by Willow, who as always wanted feeding. She was unlucky again. I am not saying todays photo has applied anything I have gleaned today at all but I do like the idea of simplicity.
