Sydney or Bust 15

On the road again. Finally we have hit the City of Sydney local government area and are within three kilometres of the final goal. Why not have a quick look at the pictures from the walk? Those of you unfamiliar with inner Sydney may find things very interesting from now on.

Stage 15: Five Dock to Pyrmont

All along this project I have enjoyed climbing pedestrian overpasses. From this one, soaring high over the Western Distributor Motorway, we can see into Rozelle and Blackwattle Bays. In the far distance is one end of the CBD. We can just make out the Sydney Fish Markets at the distant water's edge. Up close is yet another marina. It may not be the largest marina but is probably the marina offering berths for the largest private vessels in the inner harbour. There does seem to be a competition going on to determine who can mount the greatest number of radar and commucations domes on their respective masts and bridges. That word, "excess" come to mind again. (sigh)
