Big oak trees from little acorns grow
Four big oak trees to be precise; situated around the perimeter of our garden. Four big oak trees that seem to be laden with acorns, which are dropping off with tedious regularity. Unfortunately one oak tree overhangs our drive and the acorns can be quite a hazard underfoot so we try and sweep up every couple of days. In a different hazard, the particular acorn that I have photographed for Tiny Tuesday, very nearly landed on my head, whilst I was out gardening this afternoon. I am pushing on with tidying, pruning and bulb planting whilst the sun shines.
In other news Sky continues to improve. It's now a waiting game until next week when the stitches come out. Fingers crossed.
